Hopefully if Mitsubishi manage to obtain the parts to fix our car we will probably extent our lease, at present the AP are horrific and the choice limited. I do believe the bubble has burst as regards PHEV’s the new breed of hybrid’s have improved dramatically, not sure what to do.

I’m not a fan of extending and have only done the nce with my previous car. I agree the AP’s are stupid at the moment. I initially wanted the Tuscon PHEV but at £5k at the time I opted for the ICE version with the difference of £3k I could put towards petrol. Taking into account you still have to put fuel in a PHEV I figured the standard ICE would work out cheaper or very little in it over three years. On a run I’m acheiving 40mpg anyway, around town is the killer at 27-29mpg. As your aware I do alot of longer journeys and any EV on the scheme that might at a push be suitable are again stupid money. I’d would have had the Tuscon hybrid 230 if it was on the scheme, as I made a big mistake goung back to manual which my knee and foot isn’t thanking me for.

Speaking of new breed of Hybrids I’ll probably end up with maybe the Qashqui E-power more likely the the X Trail 2wd E-power but I’ll wait till q2 hoping they will put higher specs on 🙂
