Just had a bit of a shock,  with renewal coming up I’m faced with keeping my current Ateca for another 2 years, which I’m not keen on due to poor grip in the wet and no grip in snow etc., paying out £2-£3,000 on a replacement or buying something private.

Anyway, I was looking at a 2015 Yeti, went to check on insurance and with only 3 years no claims (idiot in a transit ran into me in 2020) the cheapest I found was £650!!!  And that’s assuming they accept Motability’s NCB.  I had a brand new Yeti from 2017-20 and that was under £400.

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
