Rugbyleague I doubt and company know of this type of charger and as it’s pretty new that is to be expected. If the trials work, and I’m sure they will, the benefits will quickly become apparent. This is when companies start to plan, when they see financial benefits, and companies like your own will look at the needs for their particular locations and adapt the number of chargers to suit.
My sons company are looking to provide chargers as they have recently adopted a salary sacrifice scheme and would be ideal for this trial.
They are extending their hanger into the existing car park and proposing to build a multi story car park to replace the lost parking spaces. Fitting V2X chargers at every parking space would be ideal. I sent them a video of a company abroad who have already done this and it appears to be working very well.
The shift pattern they work means there are 200 cars parked out side of the building 24/7 so it really is a perfect candidate for a scheme like this.
