Drop an email to the Nissan’s motability team and ask them if they propose to add the Tekna spec, and if so, when. Their email address is : motability@nissan.co.uk Let us know if you get a response.

I sent them an email about x-trail teka or qq tekna + joining the scheme and they responded with the following: Thank you for contacting me at Nissan Motability, In answer to your first question regarding the X-Trail, unfortunately we cannot supply this on the Motability Scheme due to the pricing CAP that Motability have on vehicle eligibility for the scheme, the current CAP is £42,000, with the Tekna trim we are out by £265 and therefore no matter how much I plead with Motability it is outside of their parameters. In terms of the Tekna + I am assuming you are referring to the e-POWER derivative, this is not considered for the scheme for the current price list due to the fact we cannot make this work under the current Advance Payment CAP of £4000.00 Apologies this is probably not the information you wanted to hear. Further comments received about QQ Tekna+:
I will certainly propose the model again, however my sign off process has to go via Europe, the model exists in Motability’s system so will definitely be considered. At present it is not even priced but hidden, I can certainly ask the questions if we can have the model available for special circumstances where the need for a Tekna + trim is required, these can be allowed in one-off circumstances, but I don’t want to promise anything right now.
