@Oscarmax At the top of my list is getting back into an auto and then take into account my driving style and pattern – yes my right leg is heavier than the left 🙂
I like the X Trail at the moment with E-4orce but I’m a bit thingy on the acclaimed 44mpg. That is in the ball park of my current Tuscon acclaimed 41.5mpg. As such real world won’t be alot of difference but, I would expect a little more locally than I’m currently getting. That leave;s the XT E-power with an acclaimed range of just under 50mpg or the Qashqui E-power with around an acclaimed circa 10mpg extra than the former. I don’t doubt that because its a smaller car and mike700 is getting around 50-60s mpg which is nice 🙂
I did think of and have not discounted a BEV but still unsure, plus they are at the upper end of AP amounts. I did do a thread asking if it was expensive to charge an EV when out and about and ccopy+pasted an aricle similar to my journeys. It now since deleted at my request for obvious reasons. In that thread somene kindly gave me their summer and winter figures of their ID3 77Kw. They gave I think 280ish miles in winter which is more important, however the day after another poster whith the same car said it was more akin to 150ish miles in winter – which is it like!! That has cooled me somewhat on having one.
That leave’s PHEV or a traditional full hybrid that are also both contenders. I would consider a MHEV as I see no point.
The problem is – what’s available on the scheme right now to suit my needs and also taking into account AP’s are imo still over inflated. Neither the QQ tecna or XT N-connecta have full leather/fake seats. I have more or less convinced suffer a bit longer and to wait untill Q2 and then decide.
In the meantime I’m grateful for any suggestions 🙂
