Have now been waiting in excess of 8 for my gts line mhev awd. Just out of curiosity had a test drive in the new qq e power last Friday. Thanks to the friendly local dealership had the car for a couple of hours and was able to do both urban and rural roads. In total covered about 70 miles and returned an mpg figure which showed 49.6mpg
Better than you would get from a sportage but I found the car light, ‘tinny’ and was susceptible to side winds. Albeit I will have to continue to wait I don’t mind because in my opinion the sportage is a far superior car and is definitely worth waiting for than being able to get the e power within a couple of weeks. Plus you get awd with the model I am waiting for so really you cannot compare mpg directly. I currently have a Honda Crv awd which returns 34 mpg over the 61000 miles I have covered so that is about the same as the Sportage. My advice to anyone would be to continue to wait.
