A Vauxhall dealer told me even if a car was in stock i could not have it as Motability she told me changed the rules and it has to be a factory order is this true.
Not true. As long as the car isn’t pre-registered it can become a Motability car. The issue is that most of the time dealers will want to do a new car order for Motability customers, as they will make far more profit out of an in-stock car by selling it to a private customer. They lose far more money if a private customer isn’t prepared to wait and walks away than if we do! It does happen though, so always worth asking.
