Mike, many cars these days seem to build up moisture inside. Our XC40 does, but it has an electric screen heater so it can be cleared easily. I suspect climate control / aircon is weaker than it used to be for “eco” reasons.
We have a small Ecoair dehumidifier in the house, which I put in the car for a few hours from time to time. It always manages to extract a few cupfuls of water, and the misting problem goes away.
