Ive always got 27-29mpg locally and 39-42 on a run in my Tuscon ICE, whic is crap to my previous fossil car. I currently do alot of 350 mile journey’s so I’d avoid lugging the extra weight of a PHEV around, opting more for a FHEV or better still Nissans E-Power technology. Sadly as @wigwam pointed out MX30 p- r- ev technology to usethe engine soley as a generator and incorporate the added weight of a PHEV battery didn’t work out this time for them.
I had a good look at the X Trail really tempting.
Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.
