Regardless of the arguments about alternative options Motability could have chosen, it’s still a great help to be receiving £1000 ( £250 GCB and £750 NVP) shortly after picking up your car. Agreed it would be great not to have the AP to find up front but getting £1000 back instead of £500 is a massive help to me.
