    Nope.

    This is reactionary towards the Tesla stock trend, not a general indicator about EV prices. Tesla stock dropped by 65% over 2022 – and Musk lost around 165 billion $ as a result. In part due to his twitter antics, but an equal part is the fact that he didn’t meet wall street forecasts in regards to sold units.

    Of course, Tesla stock was overvalued from the get-go, but fact of the matter is that people really aren’t happy with the numbers Tesla puts out. Hence slashing prices, to get more cars sold and stabilise the stock.

    Which of course sucks, i’d love to see a general reduction in prices for EVs, but it’s just not happening just yet – the demand is still high, and the semi conductor crap still isn’t sorted out.
