I asked motability if they would be willing to let me go for the Tekna+ and I pay the difference but they refused. I asked if I could further extend the current car (had it 5 years) and they said no to that too.
Yet more proof that the often quoted line that Motability’s priority is all about addressing the needs of disabled people is complete guff. It’s a great shame that more effort isn’t made to get far more the top of the range models on to the scheme, especially with larger vehicles, as many of the features that may be considered by many to be luxury items are essential for people with certain disabilities.
