Mike how does the QQ compare to the Tiguan for front and rear passenger space I’ve not managed to go and sit in one yet ?

The QQ is definitely a tad smaller in the front than the Tiggy, but bigger than the previous QQ and appears to be bigger than the previous Tiguan. However it cannot be described as small, I am a rounded 5 ft 10+ and I get in and out of both quite easily- headroom and legroom getting in is adequate in both , but not generous ? The QQ is a very much quieter and smoother ride, with no gear changes, but the n-connecta , although quite well equipped does not have the kit that an SEL Tiggy has, however the adaptive Cruise control seemed to work quicker and better than that in the Tiguan. I was impressed, and i had heard that the Tiguan was not coming back for a while and/ or the AP,’s would be higher than now? I have had 5 Datsun/ Nissan to date, no six coming up!

First impressions last , as they say!

The Ceramic Grey pearlescent paint looks really nice ,even in the rain!

The headroom is really good up front ( I opted for a solid roof this time after 9 years of glass & the occasional winter condensation drip – don’t close the roof blind in the winter ) and the dashboard is impressive and gives me all the info I will ever need and the sound quality of the speakers ( via Apple Play – No wires ) is excellent. The driving position is more car than SUV.

The seat squab is smaller than that in the Tiggy, and the seat is harder, but quite well shaped and comfortable.

Definitely advise the  option of wireless phone charging it’s going to be a godsend for old gits like me, who forever forget to charge their phone before going to the shops  -which  xxxxxx did she say?

I now carry a walker with me & there is some adjustment to be made as the QQ boot is not as large as that in the Tiguan, nor is the tailgate, and certainly not as high, but still quite large with flexible flooring it’s enough.- 470 v 600:

I have driven the Leaf several times, the iD3 and the iD4 ( which I ordered then cancelled ) and the QQ e- powers, gives a similar sort of drive,  clearly not electric, but nevertheless ‘very similar absolutely silent start – no noisy starter motor, very quiet, very smooth, very nippy with instant response  – yeah, it’s a nice ev type of drive.

    No gear  changes.

A mix of A303 (in traffic ) and running around locally today for a total of 159 miles, has recorded 51 mpg petrol, compared to a similar run in the Tiguan in the opposite direction which recorded 37.1 diesel at 20p a litre more than petrol. I photographed the TIGGY mileage.
