You couldn’t make it up?! We have touched on range with an EV. I would like to be able to get to Glasgow and home without having to recharge. It’s a 160 mile round trip and I do it once in a blue. I would consider any BEV that could do that in winter, or come close to it.
you will be fine, when the temps were 0 t0 -2 we drove 76 miles to my parents, then drove 76 miles back, both journeys heated seats and climate on (i like it toasty). claimed range is 280 which is doable around town but we were basically on a 95% of journey on motorway so sat at 72 as car is 2mph out. car had 169 range on dash we did not charge. journey home in night with rain so all things being use and still had 35 miles when we got home.
but as I have stated speed does kill range, weather kills range.
