Hi Brent, I do like the images of the Next Gen Kona EV that are starting to emerge and it would be wonderful to take delivery of the New Model. My only concern would be the spec that will be assigned to our orders. Reading some info on TopElectricSUV (American) Hyundai have started production of the Next Gen Kona which will be then be launched for the Korean market January 2023, the Kona EV will follow a couple of months later. Production for the new model was started in the same plant as the out going model (our orders!) Easy to see why our build dates were pushed back. Several times during 2022 plant 3 production was suspended so that a production line for the New Gen could be installed. Again, easy to see why orders were delayed. If only customers were able to digest these circumstances as they occurred and then decide for themselves if they wished to go ahead with their orders or cancel. Hyundai do like to cloak everything in some sort of hush hush veil which only leads to very poor customer service. I feel I have a better understanding of my order and how I have come to have 5 build dates. Fingers crossed that production of the Next Gen goes smoothly and on time along with the launch. It will be a hard wait but I have made it this far.
