I also worked in car manufacturing and did actually witness 2 types of mini being built at the same time on the same line…..you are right tho, chaos! I watched the finishing line, body line would be different and maybe the mini line was just cosmetic changes.
My thoughts are that the line changes to new production and then all remaining orders will convert to new model as a line change is such a significant event in a car factory.
I do hope we get the new version even if our February delivery is delayed further.
