Generally we don’t eat turkey for xmas, The mrs got a stuffed turkey joint from aldi and I picked up a whole leg of lamb from Tesco, as we usually do for Xmas because they half price and it cost £12.50 instead of £25 and we all love lamb.
This year we going to cook the leg in the 8l instant point duo, seal it on sauté then pressure cook it for 60/90 mins. 90mins pc is like 7 hours slow cooked and 60 mins is equivalent to 5.25 hrs, not decided yet on how long to cook it for and then maybe airfry it a bit to crisp it up more if needed.
We have done pork joints and chickens that way and they was amazing, so so tender, just have make sure you do a natural/slow release.
Mrs A to B Will basically do all xmas dinner except for the IP and we’ll all stay out of her way.
