struth, since I reached my lowest state in January 2021 Ive moved from my home for the last forty years, to live with my son and daughter in law and their large family. I’ve had all the vaccinations including flu and pneumonia, and during the last year and a half I’ve had covid at least once (tested positive), as the children can’t avoid close contact at school. Each time has been mild and has lasted just a few days. Fortunately because I had totally isolated for almost a year before Jan 21, I avoided Covid before I was vaccinated. It’s taken some time but I no longer wear a mask when I go out and shop happily in crowded supermarkets.
I’m not trying to offer you any advice struth, I’m just sharing my own personal experience. Cheers.
Edit: Saturday 17th …. I was probably wrong when I said that I avoided covid before I was vaccinated. In early 2020 I had a lengthy flu type illness which I wasn’t tested for, but later on in the year I had a number of symptoms lasting for months such as debilitating exhaustion, increased body and joint pains that my GP diagnosed over a couple of consultations on the phone as “long covid”. She felt it was likely that the “flu” earlier in the year was probably covid. As it wasn’t tested I can’t be sure.
