I’d say so, we were £250 inc VAT for our charger fitting – outside the grant scheme as we never heard back from Motability & BP Pulse, nor Podpoint whom we contacted directly. I just got fed up and ordered a charger then got a local electrician to fit it. That was for the parts and labour. 2 x 25m of 6mm armoured cable, correct RCD & run via the very hard to reach attic/crawl space, dropped down to the basement, run across that and drill two holes through 1m of stone to the outside, fit charger (£300 Viridian unit) and an outside double socket on the other cable (so we can fit another charger or a heatpump later without having to run the cable again and have an outside socket in the meantime).
So £550 all in, including the charger, fitted late 2021.
