    Hi Debs

    I am really sorry to hear about your situation, it must be very frustrating having lost all that time and still being no closer to getting your car.

    You have said that Motability “can’t find me on their system”. As other have pointed out it appears that you placed the order with the dealer, but the dealer then failed to correctly place the order with Hyundai / Motability before the deadline and the best way to procced depends on what paperwork / evidence you have. Which of the following do you have?

    Receipt from dealer for pacing the order
    Order Number (will begin 1011)
    Any other paperwork or emails from the dealer, Hyundai or Motability about the order?

    I believe the Kona was removed from the scheme on 27/8/22, if your order was placed before that time it should be honoured regardless of the fact it was later withdrawn.

    If you have any written confirmation or good evidence that the order was placed in April then you have a case worth fighting for. Citizen’s advice bureau may be able to help you. However, I know it this may not be what you want to hear, but if you cannot find paperwork confirming that your order was placed, I suspect you may struggle and maybe best to start looking at alternatives (I think MG4 is the closest thing on the Motability Scheme currently available and I have heard good things about the car (also appears shorter wait times than other EV’s))
