Just to add to what myself33 said if you leave Motability sometime in the future they will give a note that covers you for 5 year (maximum) NCB as long as you haven’t made any claims.
I’ve had to do this myself in the past and most, but maybe not all, will except that note for the 5 years no claim should you want to insure a private car when you leave.
