Without being unkind to anyone who has an ID.3, and indeed ID.4, its one of the worst interiors I have seen, lots of cheap plastic, and basically cost cutting measures. Hyundai are not renown for their interior designs, but the Kona was, IMO, way ahead of VW, and proper hand controls for climate. The other day I had to turn the front windscreen fan on, took half a second. Imagine on a Tesla/VW and others, scrolling through menu´s and sub menu´s, then repeat the process to turn it off. Distracting. There seemed to be an obsession to change everything, just for the sake of it.
