now that was such a long winded tale just to ask, Can i say i don’t want the car and go elsewhere, even though i’ve signed for this agreement? another smaller issue is the advance payment for our summer time swap to the Kamiq is £300 more than if i ordered one today.
You can cancel the car at anytime prior to putting the PIN in provided by Motability without any problems regardless of signing an agreement. If you do so just be aware that when you place an order elsewhere, you will be at the back of the queue and be prepared for a longer than normal wait again.
As for advance payment being £300 cheaper today is not an issue. If you ask the dealership to put the order through again at the lower advance payment, they will do this for you without loosing your place in the queue or the car you have ordered. This is common practice and is done by many including myself. My advice is do it in person rather than over the phone.
