i fully expect to receive a call from the place we’ve order our car from to say its ready, {just like when you ask to see a doctor and when you eventually get an appointment, you feel much better}
So anyway, we have a Skoda Kamiq on order, normally we get our new car last week in July, everything is signed for, but it won’t be ready until maybe the 2nd week in September, i pop in to see what’s happening near the end of August, ”oh i was just about to call you, there is some issue with {can’t remember what old flannel he told me} ” couple more weeks past and i popped into get another update and to let them know i’d need extended insurance, ”oh right we can do that today, i was then told the car ordered hadn’t even been assembled yet, and it would be end sometime in November before week received it, then the final time i was in, it had actually been built and was on its way, that was probably a month ago {at no time have i been contacted by the motability dealer, it always been me who has to pop in to their dealership, then i get the ”oh, i was just about to phone you” patter}
now that was such a long winded tale just to ask, Can i say i don’t want the car and go elsewhere, even though i’ve signed for this agreement?
another smaller issue is the advance payment for our summer time swap to the Kamiq is £300 more than if i ordered one today.
