I’ve had this problem, thought wrongly motability kindly resolved it for me, but we discovered a problem.
It seems if the account to receive payment is an old account (mine is) it will need amending in the APP setting (in my case) to allow/access permission to update data protection to share something or other…
This account for me have served me well through the many decades so I guess it can stay as it is..
Besides a cheque is ok, and now they can be scanned online/app anyway..
May be data protection tick box causing problems Dany ?
