They replace like with like on quality, not brand, so if your car came with a premium brand name, you will get premium replacements, at least, thats been my experience on my last 18 tyres, last tyre fitted was a few weeks ago, Kia use Nexens on the Soul, so they gave me a Arrowforce replacement – yeah, I’d never heard of it either….apparently they considered the OEM Nexens as a budget tyre, so I got a budget replacement.
Of course, that could all be hogwash and they have just switched from their standard practice of fitting premium tyres to budget in the last couple of years to save on cash.
And no, you don’t usually get any choice or say in the matter, it’s between Kwikfit and Motability.
