I have ridden The FJ thru wales peaks and lakes a few times – however being retired some years I have to content myself with the memories – the last time I rode FJ was millennium eve.
Used to do a lot of camping fell walking and climbing so have spent many happy hours in the lakes often camping above snow line on helvelyn etc – not so many people about then you could walk several miles and not meet anyone – also sailed on Windermere many times when cloud or mist was low – good memories – definitely a bike or Land Rover for the lakes tho ??
