there is one other possibility, that this govt intends ending the car scheme part of pip… this wouldn’t surprise me.
Im no fan at all of the Tories, but I don’t think they would end the scheme. It gives them a lot of kudos when doing post Brexit deals to be able to say how many cars they import. You also have the relevant jobs around the supply and maintenance of scheme cars.
