I have only used the OHME app to charge – I have paired Bluelink but not used to charge only monitor – I will use it when I want to pre condition car in winter when I need to maximise range.
I had OHME installed several months before I got the car – my previous car was a Prius phev and I paired that with OHME which charged at the lower 3.5 rate – then when I got Kona I changed the selection from Prius to Kona.
Like many of these things you sort it out and then often forget how you did it as there is only the need to do it once.
But from vague memory on the OHME app there is a list of manufactures and cars – you select your car – I think it may have to be plugged in when you do this then on the OHME app you just hit go.
You don’t need any of the Bluelink stuff in order to activate the OHME app – let me know how you get on – good luck ?
