I’d be happy to see ANY car added to the scheme no matter what it’s powered by.
I wouldn’t see it as manufacturers trying to offload them or anything like that. There is still plenty of life in petrol and diesel. In fact if you got a diesel car on the scheme tomorrow you could have that until 2025, the next one until 2028 and the one after that until 2031 if you wanted
