A question for you if I may – I currently have an Audi A1 S Line automatic, and am due to change on 20 December. I would order another A1 but they are currently not on the scheme. I can’t find another model I want, and financially it makes more sense to extend my current lease as the car suits my needs and I spent quite a lot on options to cover everything I need. The car has currently done 32000 miles. How long would motability allow me to extend the lease for?
Have you considered the VW Polo, SEAT Ibiza or the Skoda Fabia, all three cars are on the scheme and are built on the same VW platform as the Audi A1?
Failing that, as struth pointed out, you can extend for two years just a simple phone call to motability, and you can order a new car at anytime, but be aware you need to have 1 year remaining on your mobility award to order a new car.
