<p style=”text-align: left;”>I wouldn’t go out if my way to harm or disadvantage people of the planet – but and it’s a big but – not my butt – tho it is – it is easy to get sucked into virtual signalling with no real effect – driving an EV means less pollution on the local roads for my local community – checking on elderly neighbours – tho I am rapidly becoming one of them – or picking up shopping for neighbours as I have a car – this is not to say – look at me I’m wonderful – but doing useful things locally is a two way process – it helps them – makes me feel useful and improves my mental health and I get to see the results.</p>
Whatever we do is not going to offset what China or India do sadly – this is not meant to be judgemental just realistic – so I will enjoy my less polluting EV and try to be helpful to locals family and friends. – sermon over!!
