as said there is no engine noise so your going to hear other noises more. i wouldnt say its very bad, but of course it could be better. all about price i think and fact the body is designed for a ice car. i think if it was designed from ground up to be an ev it would be quieter
The interesting thing for me is that the Kona’s most direct rival the ID.3 is a newly designed electric car on a pure electric platform. Whilst it beats the Kona for boots pace and rear passenger space, in virtually all other aspects the Kona is equal or beats it, especially the all important range and real time energy consumption, and, in my view, the cabin quality in the Kona is superior. When Hyundai eventually migrate the Kona onto an all electric platform, the results should be even more impressive than the current offering..
