Hi Woodlands – no I always set the speed limit myself – I haven’t noticed the navigation system making any errors yet – but I’m sure it will – my last car had a hud as well and would tell me it was 30 40 or even 50 on the motorway when it picked it up from roads running parallel or going under the motorway – but setting the speed limiter myself is useful especially in 20 zones where it is so easy to exceed it – I usually set it 2 mph less than limit as Bing dosnt kick in until a couple of miles over.
The smart lane positioning also works well and will steer you around a bend – but I would never rely on it – it bongs if it senses you have let go off the wheel – I think 30 secs – but if you were ill or had heart attack it might prevent an accident.
