We’re locked into a 12 month fixed contract with Octopus, 7.5p for 4 hours daily. Put the car on yesterday at 11pm, in 2.5 hours has gone from 16% to 42%. Will have a 4 hour charge tonight to bring up to 80%. Yesterday I set back home with 165 miles left and a 112 mile journey, and when I arrived home had 51 miles left. Very accurate and reliable. No range anxiety. I think I would always want 30 miles extra range on a journey of 100 miles, but on shorter ones, maybe 20, just in case there are diversions etc. The plan is to keep the car at between 80-90%, only charging to 100% for long journeys. HDA worked well 99% of the time. Just once it came up with a malfunction warning, then restarted with the car accelerating to the 70mph limit. No cars in front so all perfectly safe.
