I always thought that the Kona platform was designed with the different variants in mind including the electric version so although it isn’t a ground up EV there are less compromises than you would get in a platform that was adapted for an EV drivetrain.
I’m starting to think I have missed the boat with the savings you could get from having an EV, by the time mine arrives, if the cost of electricity increases as predicted, I won’t be able to afford to go anywhere in it even when home charging.
