No didnt get any pip returned as car stolen saturday 9th July. Phoned RSA on the 10th but was just skeleton staff. Monday 11th RSA phoned back as i had reported it on the sunday for more details. Because there was a problem with their payment system couldnt pay the excess so was after 4pm before hire car was authorised, so came on the tuesday. Was without a car for the Sunday and Monday so PIP is taken still for the hire car.
In regards to new car i phoned dealer up as it was due for a service. The motability salesman phoned me and said he had taken delivery on the Tuesday of a car originally for the showroom. Could not let anyone have for 45 days as thats their company policy so he was happy to reserve and hold pending whether it was recovered by police. Obviously because it hasnt been recovered it will be ours so application has gone through and all being well pick up 1st September.
