Similar happened to me around 18 months ago where the 3rd party insurer contacted me to sort out my vehicle. If I’m not mistaken that was LV, anyhow I told them it was a motability vehicle and would be advising RSA.
RSA sent me a letter stating no fault claim after it was all sorted.
