I live a cheerful life. I had a triple heart bypass when I was 59 (14 years ago), and I remember saying to the surgeon ” I’m not worried, I’ve heard you’re a brilliant surgeon, I’m so pleased I managed to get home from the Dominican Republic a few days before I had my heart attack.” He laughed and said I was one of life’s optimists. After a seven hour operation I was proved right, lol.
Chronic pain, being wobbly, and a raft of inconvenient problems won’t dampen that optimism.
Life is good …. There is always something enjoyable just around the corner if you’re prepared to go for it.
