I would recommend fitting liquid filled TRV’s as they react faster to temperature fluctuations than standard wax filled ones.
Personally I don’t see the point of Hive or similar TRV’s or any type dual zone system in a domestic dwelling. Normally these systems are restricted to large building and are nothing more than an expensive gimmick anywhere else.
As @Wigwam says get each radiator balanced first then do as 95% of households adjust the TRV’s in rooms you use to a temperature that suits you and turn the rooms that you don’t use to frost setting. Never altered mine since setting them.
If you have a multimer with built in thermometer or even a meat thermometer you can balance them satisfactory yourself. Just adjust the lock shield on the rads so the flow is 60c-65c and the return 10c-15c lower.
