Its interesting to see how the efficiency of panels are coming on, I have a 3.6 kWh system but I needed 16 panels to achieve this. You getting a whole lot more power from a much smaller number of panels ?.
I am thinking of adding additional panels, maybe 6, but I’m looking to do it myself and just get an electrician to connect to the mains and sign it off. It really is very simple to do.
Im having a look on line at the type of system I want and I could do it all myself if I go for an “off grid” type of system just connected to a battery using a hybrid inverter.
Time will tell as I also have using a V2G charger, some time in the future, on my mind which would remove the need for a battery, much to decide.
I should add that I paid £12,000 for my system 12 years ago.
The only person who got all his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe.
