sounds great. ive a mate down in wales who used to have days/ evenings like that. his wife was a top cook, and he was into wine etc. alas he has not been well. in comparison im watching Casablanca and having a wee malt.
This is a single malt that I haven’t tried struth. I’ll put it on my list (I like the bottle). I did sample a Teramana Anejo (small batch) Tequila last night. It was described as “whiskey barrel rested”. It is probably US casked but the result is quite spectacular. I would highly recommend it apart from the fact that when I googled it today with the intention of buying it, the price was £99.99 …. Ouch!
A musician friend of the family brought it to the bbq as his “special offering” (his session work must be going well at the moment, lol!)
By the way Casablanca is one of my all time favourite films.
