@kezo Know just what you mean. Had an uncle who worked on Spit’s and another who flew in Lanc’s (shot down over Black Forest in ’42 and POW’d for rest of war). So the Memorial Flight, and the private Spit’s, always raise the hair on the back of neck. Not just because of the history – there’s something about the sound of Merlins that just hits the spot.
