I’m afraid that my gardening contribution is currently nil Tharg. Last summer I was able to do a little on the basis of doing a tiny bit and then sitting down before doing a little bit more. In the end my son thanked me for trying but suggested I sit and watch him work as it would be quicker and more productive. Balance issues mean that I can’t now safely use the walk behind mower as a Zimmer frame, lol.
I’ve just bought a new pressure washer with almost 4000psi of pressure and extra long hose, as the house has a lot of stone paved areas. I’ve even had a couple more outside taps fitted to allow greater coverage. That’s my role now Tharg …. making sure that others have the right tools to speed up a big job ?.
The Eurovision party made for a long and tiring day, but it was brilliant. My grandchildren all wanted the Norwegian entry to win and couldn’t understand why it didn’t (apart from my eldest grandson who was entranced by the Spanish singer’s gyrations!) Two of my grandchildren are singing in Birmingham tomorrow night at a large event called “Young Voices UK”. It’s at the Resorts World Arena, so the next generation of singers are there for our future family Eurovision song bid! ?
