Thank you Tharg. I hope I’m on the mend, but I tend to be taking “two steps forward and one step backwards” at the moment ?.
My grandchildren were down in the bottom garden playing football this morning (early before going to school) and they met one of our local deer face to face. He wasn’t spooked at all as he and his friends are regular visitors. He just wandered slowly off the pitch.
We had a family “Eurovision Song Contest party” on Saturday. The weather was glorious and our football pitch got well used, there were trampoline competitions and sun loungers and hammocks under some 90 year old trees, for those of us who wanted to join in lazily! We had a sunny barbecue on the rear patio …. followed the sun round for drinks in the front garden, and then moved up to the roof terrace as it gets the last of the evening sun, for a further relaxing tipple and chat. One of my daughter in laws said “I would happily pay for entrance to this magical garden”. That comment made my day.
Sorry to waffle on, but as you can probably tell I love my surroundings.
