With the improving weather,I’m at last able to attend to garden essentials. Notably the window boxes and baskets of flowers which so brighten up the bricks and mortar. New discovery this Spring are these hessian, woven hanging bags for flowers. Look really good and cheaper than baskets. Also, since they need only a hook and not a big bracket, they’ll go places where baskets can’t.
Next job is to have a go at making them up myself rather than buying fully done from garden centre. Moreover, they are quite a weight when filled and need seriously big hooks. Took a number 10 masonry drill and a lot of luck, but I got them hung (relatively) easily.
