Worryingly more cars are stolen with the keys these days. Potentially now you have to factor in having your home broken into and possibly being terrorised for your keys. 133 cars per day on average. I don’t know if keyless theft is capable of replicating your plug release though. I don’t waste too much time worrying about things that are statistically unlikely to happen.
A neighbour futher down street this is what happened to them. they then tied them up a took his pride and joy. an rs2000 i think. it was probably stolen to order and was abroad before he got loose. think he has a beamer now.
I keep my keys in faraday pouches which work. I would say if anyone who you dont recognise is loitering around you than dont lock car til they go, or just move again
