We did try the remote parking, and it was fun for like a minute. It’s a tad fiddly, and the parking sensors are very sensitive – it refused to “drive” into our parking bay at home which has a wall to one side.
I actually don’t know about the wheels, i just know that we drove the FHEV on a route that our Ateca 1.5 TSI DSG manages around 45mpg (on an 18 mile trip of mostly A and B roads) – the Sportage FHEV sat at 37mpg initially, got it up to around 42ish.
