Opinions on the 1.6 Diesel Sportage? Much difference between it and the Petrol? Also, what are the chances they remove the other Sportages now?
Personally I think if you don’t do many motorway miles (which I don’t), then the petrol HEV is the only petrol to go for as the other petrols are underpowered and too thirsty. When I say “underpowered and too thirsty” this is for my needs, others maybe happy with the performance. I was due to order HEV on Tuesday, but I’m not considering the remaining options.
But if I did many motorway miles, I would go for the Diesel over petrol, including the HEV. The HEV won’t recharge much on the motorway, unless you’re having to break often, so Diesel still wins for long distance drivers.
