Motability were annoying because the dealer originally promised it would be here by the middle of August latest, and since I’ve forked out a grand for it and they’ve installed the charger this early, they found it unfair and have contacted other dealers to see if there’s any others within a certain area to me.
I’m surprised the dealer “promised” anything. My dealer, along with the vast majority, has been clear from the start, no promises as things change rapidly. According to reports, an Ultimate ordered today is predicted to take appx 9/10 months to deliver. On other forums and here we are seeing people only now taking delivery of cars ordered in October last year, with those ordered in November/December due June/July, a 6/8 month timescale. This is still a lot quicker than the 12/18 months from other manufacturers. Frustrating, but a fact of life in 2022.
